DefaultBriar Sim Village Pool
Next up, I wanted to replicate my neighborhood's public swimming pool into a community lot. I could not include the tennis court because I ran out of room and Sims 2 doesn't have a tennis court (there's basketball, but again, ran out of room XD). The house behind the pool is actually a "clubhouse" for the neighborhood, and it does have a small kitchen and two bathrooms. It has been a few years since I was last inside that house, so I could only base the interior on memory.

I have included two CC's to create the parking lot: Park in the Car Park and Decorative Parking Spaces. Both were created by MogHughson.

Here's an overhead view of the pool: http://graceandcompany.com/wp-conte...age-900x450.jpg

You can also google "Briar Village Pool" and check it out through google map to get a better ground perspective.

Edit: Since I am new to these CC's, I'll play around with the settings to see how I can get the parked cars to not always appear white or very light silver.

That looks really nice!

The swings apart from the playground inside the pool fence- maybe move it and place the woodchip ground cover underneath so it still looks part of the same area then fence around or add a gate? Otherwise Sim kids who want to play on the swings after the climbing tower will have to walk all the way around the pool and clubhouse into the playground area.
Now what dammit?

Personally speaking, I would leave out the parking lots (if you're going to upload) and suggest downloaders install them. The reason being you will get a lot more downloads with a CC free version.

Updated the playground by merging the swing set with the rest of it, redesigned the fence so that patch of land is outside the pool area, and I added another pair of gates to allow Sims to enter the playground from the swimming pool.

For maxon's comment, that does make good sense. I've removed the parking lots and will direct users to MogHughson's profile to get the CCs recommended. It will also ease things for me.

Edit: Before creating this thread, I tested this lot briefly at Strangetown. It took a bit to get out of the loading screen, so once the lot was fully loaded and my Sim arrived, everyone was already present. The majority of the visitors were inside the clubhouse chatting and poking at each other (an old lady wanted to stir some trouble at the kitchen). I also noticed the stationary cars were all facing towards the parking lot, as if everyone backed into those spots. Later on I fixed that.
