DefaultInstalling Windows 7 on Windows 10 preinstalled laptop.
Is this possible?
I bought a win 7 profession for my own computer, when I was buying everything in parts.
So I already have the win 7 cd.
I would want to get rid of win 10 on my daughter' Acer laptop, that cam with win 10, or at least install my win 7 OS on it.
I would do that alone, myself so I'd appreciate guidance please.
Here is her spec's.

The main consideration is whether you can find Windows 7 drivers for that model laptop. The Acer support site only seems to have Win 10 drivers:
https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/conte...roduct/6749?b=1
It may be that Windows generic drivers will work fine for the devices on that laptop, but it's also possible that they won't. For example, when I tried a similar thing with a HP laptop, I had problems getting the touch pad to work correctly. If that happens, you could try to track down alternative drivers that work, but this can be tricky.
I'd be tempted to give it a try, and see what happens.

Your reply is encouraging. (yes, I am a positive person)
I'll try to find suitable win 7 drivers for that specific laptop..who knows, I might get lucky. OH! your link IS that specific machine..ahah!
Thank you.
I found this ...but I have no idea if I can trust it.
And I am not on her laptop as I type. Maybe tomorrow, I'll investigate.
